MAP sensor is required when you when it’s not possible to receive torque or MAP sensor over CAN.
MAP sensor PIN | TCU PIN |
GND | 16-20 (sensor ground) |
+5V | 61-63 (+5V out) |
Signal | 7 (Analog in 5) |
Configuration:
- Open TunerPro and navigate to “Sensor Call.”
- Open “MAP Call” and configure your map sensor (use table below if you are using one of supported MAP sensorss)
- Open “Torque Calculation”
- Enable flag “Automatic detection of torque calculation input”
- Select one map “Base Torque Table RMP/MAP” which uses your desired units of torque
- This map must be adjusted to reflect torque your engine is generating at any moment. Any problems with rough shifting should start by checking if that table is correct.
