ATTENTION!! The 8hp55 comes in two versions, with or without selector cable cord. If it had a mechanical P/R/N/D selector cable, the valve plate then has 2 fewer valves than a standard gearbox without a selector cable cord.

ATTENTION!! The PCB mounted to the 8hp mechatronic TCM is different when the 8hp55 has a selector cable cord.

*For the 8hp55 Audi, add the missing wires in the internal gearbox harness between the mechatronic TCM and the 8hp round connector.

ATTENTION!! For 8hp55 witch selector cable cord connection between the gearbox and the TCU is different than the standard connection of BMW 8hp45/50/70/75 and 8hp55 without selector cable cord.
